BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Seth Gage Savoie, 24, of 107 Honey Lane, Apt. 1, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on first degree rape charges in connection with an incident in Bayou L’Ourse on August 8, 2019.
On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to a complaint of a juvenile female having been raped at 107 Honey Lane in Bayou L’Ourse.
Detectives had attempted on numerous occasions to speak to Savoie, but that dialogue never occurred.
As a result of evidence collected, detectives were able to establish probable cause to present evidence of first-degree rape to a grand jury on November 6, 2020 in Assumption Parish. That grand jury subsequently resulted in an indictment being returned.
On Thursday, Seth Gage Savoie was located at 107 Honey Lane. He was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:
