Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association Seeking New Members For Summer League

A meeting will be held under the pavilion by the horseshoe pits at Kemper Williams Park on Thursday, June 23rd, at 6:00 PM, to draw teams. League play will begin Tuesday, June 28th, at 6:00 PM.

League play is handicap and count all. No experience is required. League play is also coed. Men pitch from 40 ft., Women and juniors (over 12 years of age) – 30 ft., Elder men 70 plus – 30 ft., juniors under 12 pitch from 20 ft.

Adult Cost is $30.00 state/national fee. Junior fees under 18 are $7.00. Bayou HPA annual fee is $40.00 for all. This fee also makes everyone eligible for the City Singles and Doubles Championships which will be held later on during the year. Included is the “opportunity” to win Jackets, t shirts, plaques and patches to be given out at the annual awards banquet in January 2023.

The $30.00 adult and 7.00 is a state/national fee and is good to pitch in any 2022 tournament with an entry fee.
