A major fire has caused extensive damage to a longtime car dealership in Napoleonville. Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Lonnie Cavalier tells KQKI News that fire crews were dispatched sometime around 5:45 pm – 6:00 pm in reference to a fire at the dealership.
Cavalier said the dealership sustained major damage, although a cause has yet to be determined. He added that officials don’t suspect anything suspicious at this time. Investigators are expected to tour the damaged building on Thursday in an attempt to determine the cause. There were no injuries reported.
