The Franklin Police Department responded to 27 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests: Nathaniel Walters, 57, of Highway 318, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on October 20, 2023, at 6:12 PM, on the charges of speeding, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and driving under suspension. Walters was booked, processed, and released on a $919.50 bond. Jaydon Richard, 18, of Lee Charles St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 21, 2023, at 3:25 PM, on the charges of second degree battery, domestic abuse battery, and violation of protective order. Richard was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Juanita Solete, 59, of Lynn Dr., Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 22, 2023, at 9:00 AM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace. Solete was booked, processed, and released on a $318.00 bond.
