Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office Identify Two Suspects in Primary School Burglary

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports that detectives have identified two suspects in connection to a recent burglary at the Napoleonville Primary School.

On May 15, 2021, deputies responded to a complaint of a burglary at the facility as well as damaged property.

Detectives initiated an investigation and were able to identify two females, ages 9 and 12. It was determined that the two individuals made entry into the school and stole items from within.

At the conclusion of the investigation, detectives filed a verified complaint against the 12-year-old and she was released to a parent / guardian.

The 9-year-old cannot be charged with a crime because she has not reached the age of culpability or criminal responsibility.
