Franklin Fire Department and Centerville Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched Monday evening at 9:02 pm to the 600 Block of Iberia Street for smoke coming from a residence.
The first arriving units found smoke coming from the front of the residential structure. Upon entering. firefighters located and extinguished a fire inside the front living room. The situation was placed under control at 9:20 pm.
While no one was home at the time of the fire, one resident has been displaced.
No civilians or firefighters were injured. The cause of the fire has not been released.
