Amelia Man Arrested on Theft

Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Randy Germond Clark, 37, of 149 Friendship Lane, Amelia, LA, on felony charges arising from two separate theft investigations.

 

On April 1, 2024, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a pair of theft complaints, one in the 100 block of LA 662 and the second in the 100 block of Lajaunie Court.

 

Responding deputies made contact with the complainants.  Through investigation, deputies were able to secure video evidence of the suspect as well as his vehicle and were able to positively identify him as Randy Germond Clark.  At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies applied for and were granted arrest warrants for Randy Germond Clark.

 

With the assistance of Morgan City Police Department, Assumption Parish deputies and detectives located Randy Germond Clark at an apartment on Highway 182 in Morgan City.  Search warrants for the residence of Randy Germond Clark as well as his vehicle were executed resulting in the seizure of items stolen in the Bayou L’Ourse theft case.

 

Randy Germond Clark was arrested and subsequently released to the custody of Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office.

 

Randy Germond Clark was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 on charges of:

 

*Felony Theft Valued at $1000-$5000

*Misdemeanor Theft

 

Randy Germond Clark remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
