After Losing Infant, Lang Family Presents CuddleCot to Ochsner St. Mary Hospital

The Lang family, who recently experienced infant loss, presented Ochsner St. Mary CEO Elmore Patterson with a CuddleCot for the hospital earlier this month.

The CuddleCot cooling cot gives grieving families an opportunity to spend additional time with their babies–to love and hold them, take pictures, and create lifetime memories–without having to cool the whole room. According to CuddleCot.com, “some families wish to spend time with their loved ones either at home, in the hospice or at the hospital, rather than at a funeral home.” The device preserves “their appearance, condition and dignity.”

We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Lang family on their loss, and express their deep appreciation for their donation, which will help other grieving families.
