Additional Security Provided This Morning At Assumption High Due to Threats, No Credible Threat To Students or Personnel

During last evening, The Sheriff’s Office was summoned to investigate threats made towards Assumption High school. The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office are working to identify the individual who is responsible for those threats. This investigation is continuing, and there is no credible threat to the school, students and personnel.

As a precaution, Sheriff Falcon is providing additional security at Assumption High this morning. As a result of the investigation, they believe the campus is safe for students and faculty to attend school this morning.
