Accident Involving Jet Skis Reported in Bayou Vista

An accident reportedly involving two jet skis on the Lower Atchafalaya River in Bayou Vista is under investigation.  The accident was reported Wednesday evening at approximately 7:40 pm.  While details are limited at this time, a landing zone was setup behind the Bayou Vista Volunteer Fire Department for two Acadian Air Med helicopters that responded to the accident.  No other information has been released at this time, including the extent of injuries.
