ST. MARY PARISH, La. — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) announced that both lanes of the Bayou Ramos Bridge are now open to traffic.
Although the bridge has fully reopened, crews will continue working on remaining items as part of the ongoing bridge repair project along LA 182/U.S. 90 Business in St. Mary Parish. The project carries a total cost of $1,709,878.20.

According to LADOTD, remaining work includes concrete finishing, patching, and repairs to areas underneath the bridge. Motorists are advised to remain alert for crews and equipment in the area while the final phase of work is completed.

The project is currently estimated to be completed in February 2026.
