The Morgan City Police Department Criminal Investigation Division has arrested Blaine J. Sylvester (W/M, 22 years of age) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana in connection with an ongoing investigation involving a Morgan City resident.
On January 9, 2026, Mr. Sylvester was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued through the Sixth Ward Court for Stalking and Criminal Trespassing, based on the initial complaint received.
Over the course of the next several days, as the investigation continued, additional evidence was located after detectives executed a search warrant related to this case.
As a result of the continued investigation, additional arrest warrants were obtained for:
Simple Burglary – 2 counts
Video Voyeurism – 2 counts
Criminal Trespassing – 2 counts
