A woman has been transported to an out of town hospital after falling off an electric scooter that she was riding Saturday afternoon in Berwick. Berwick Police Department, Berwick Volunteer Fire Department and Acadian Ambulance were dispatched to Fairview Drive at approximately 5:40 pm in reference to a woman who was injured when she fell off the electric recreational scooter that she was riding on the roadway.
While the extent of her injuries is unknown at this time, she was flown to an out of town hospital by Acadian Air Med for treatment of her injuries. No other details have been released at this time.
