There was not much change overnight since the 1:00 am advisory. Maximum sustained winds remain at 90 mph since Francine strengthened late Tuesday night. At the current track, Francine is still forecast to make landfall Wednesday evening between Franklin and Morgan City, possibly near Centerville.
Storm surge is expected to be 5 – 10 feet with rainfall predicted from 6 – 8 inches, with isolated amounts of 10 inches. Peak winds of around 90 mph are expected at approximately 6:00 pm in the Morgan City area.
