Morgan City, LA – The Morgan City Police Department has announced a new partnership with non-profit organization ProjectNola, aiming to enhance safety and security in the community. This collaboration promises several benefits, such as increased surveillance through ProjectNola’s advanced camera network, swifter response to incidents thanks to real-time video feeds and alerts, and strengthened community engagement.

Residents can even take part in this initiative by hosting ProjectNola cameras at their homes. Interested individuals can contact Sergeant Travis Trigg at the police department (t.trigg@cityofmc.com) to learn more about the program. The department will provide guidance on camera placement, installation and maintenance.

By hosting a camera, citizens become part of Morgan City’s crime-fighting network, contributing to a safer environment for all residents. To participate or for further information, get in touch with Sergeant Travis Trigg.

Chief Adams expressed gratitude toward ProjectNola for their partnership and is confident that this collaboration will lead to a stronger and safer community in Morgan City.
