During the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 13th, the Berwick Police Department responded to the Renwick and Country Club subdivisions regarding complaints of numerous unlocked vehicles being burglarized. Officers are still in the process of taking reports and canvassing the areas for evidence.

The Berwick Police Department urges anyone in these areas or the surrounding areas to check your home surveillance cameras for any suspicious activity, specifically around the hours of 2:00 am – 4:00 am as this could greatly assist in the investigation.

Chief David Leonard reminds the public to remove all valuables from your vehicles and to lock your vehicles, day and night. These burglaries are under investigation and additional information will be released as the investigation progresses.

If you have any information concerning these burglaries, please contact the police department at 985-384-7710. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
