WHAT: For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as lownas 16 degrees expected. For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerouslyncold wind chills as low as 5 degrees expected.
WHERE: Portions of central, south central, southwest, and westncentral Louisiana and southeast Texas.
WHEN: For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 6 PM this evening to
oon CST Sunday. For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 6 PM Sunday ton11 AM CST Tuesday.
IMPACTS: Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected ski
is exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of freezingntemperatures could cause ruptured water pipes.
