WHAT: For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as lownas 13. For the Wind Advisory, north winds 15 to 25 mph with gustsnup to 30 mph expected. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezingntemperatures as low as 22 possible.

WHERE: Portions of central, south central, and southwest Louisiana.

WHEN: For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 10 AM CST Sunday. Fornthe Wind Advisory, until 4 PM CST this afternoon. For the Freeze Watch, from this evening through Sunday morning.

IMPACTS: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Treenlimbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.nFrostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin isnexposed to these temperatures. Frost and freeze conditions couldnkill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damagenunprotected outdoor plumbing.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for highnprofile vehicles. Use extra caution.nnSecure outdoor objects.nnUse caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, anhat, and gloves.nnKeep pets indoors as much as possible.nnTake steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.nnTo prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them tondrip slowly.
