Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect who Soignet says is considered “very dangerous” and is currently wanted for numerous outstanding arrest warrants in Terrebonne Parish.   Authorities are currently searching for Gilbert Moses, 45, of Houma, also known as “Muckus”, and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Moses is described as a black male, 6’0” in height, approximately 230 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, with a tattoo of “MARWAN” on his forearm.  Moses is being sought for charges of:

Possession with the intent to distribute CDS II, Possession with the intent to distribute CDS III, Possession with the intent to distribute CDS I, Possession of CDS II (multiple counts), Possession of CDS I (multiple counts), Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, Illegal carrying of a firearm in the presence of narcotics, and Possession of drug paraphernalia.

Authorities are informing the public that if anyone sees Moses, that they do not make any attempt to approach him, as he is considered a violent offender and is known to carry firearms.

Soignet asks anyone with information on the whereabouts of Moses to contact Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Detectives at (985)876-2500, or information can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers Bayou Region by phone at 1-800-743-7433, online at CrimeStoppersBR.org, or through the Bayou Tips app on mobile devices. Tipsters could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 in cash if the information leads to an arrest.
