Original Story

A utility truck is a total loss as a result of a fire in Franklin. On Saturday afternoon at approximately 12:43 pm, the Franklin Fire Department was dispatched to the 600 block of Anderson Street in reference to a downed power line and a utility truck that was fully-involved with fire.

The Franklin Fire Department said a contract company was replacing a utility pole that was recently damaged by a vehicle. The new pole struck a line and resulted in the truck catching on fire and knocking down the power line.
