The Jeanerette Police Department is asking for assistance in locating the following two subjects in reference to a shooting that happened on June 17, 2025, near Peach St. and Pellerin St.:
Akyre Kartel Marks, 17, Time St. Jeanerette La is wanted for Illegal Use of Weapons or Dangerous Instrumentalities, Aggravated Assault with Firearm, Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property, Illegal Carry of Weapons, and Illegal Possession of a Handgun by Juveniles
Jared Javon Eugene, 39, Captain Boutte Rd., Jeanerette, La is wanted for Illegal Use of Weapons or Dangerous Instrumentalities, Possession of Firearms or Carrying Concealed Weapons by Persons Convicted of Certain Felonies, Aggravated Assault with Firearms, and Illegal Carrying of Weapons
