The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) is seeking assistance from the public in identifying a group of individuals involved in an attempted ATM theft. The incident took place on West Tunnel Blvd in Houma, at the 1000 block.

On December 5th, around 3 am, TPSO Patrol Division was alerted about an ongoing burglary attempt at a Capital One Bank ATM machine. Upon arrival, deputies found an empty vehicle used in the crime, later confirmed to have been stolen from a local Terrebonne business. Despite searching the area, patrol deputies were unable to locate the suspects who fled on foot.

The Sheriff’s Office detectives have been called to investigate further and are actively pursuing leads related to this case.

Sheriff Tim Soignet urges anyone with information about this attempted ATM theft to get in touch with the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office at (985)876-2500 or the Bayou Region Crime Stoppers at 800-743-7433 or visit CRIMESTOPPERSBR.ORG to provide anonymous tips. There is potential eligibility for a cash reward for valuable information.
