Three St. Mary Parish Inmates Transported to Medical Facility

Sheriff Gary Driskell reports that three inmates at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center were transported to a local medical facility for medical evaluation after experiencing a medical episode.

At approximately 9:00 pm on Wednesday night, February 5, Corrections deputies reported three offenders who were experiencing shortness of breath and other symptoms. Acadian Ambulance was called to the L.E.C. and subsequently, all three offenders were transported to a local medical facility for treatment.

They were transported back to the SMPLEC after evaluation on Wednesday night.
