Suspect Apprehended After Attacking Victim with a Chainsaw

According to the Franklin Police Department responded to the 600 Block of Eighth St. In reference to a person being attacked by a chainsaw earlier today (June 10, 2024). The victim was air lifted to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. The Franklin Police Department has identified a suspect and he was apprehended.

The suspect was identified as Albert Mitchell. Mitchell was taken into custody and charged with aggravated second degree battery.

The investigation is ongoing.
