St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 27 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Hector Ruiz-Santos, 42, Patterson, LA, was arrested on August 10, 2023, at 11:06 pm on the following charges:
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Open container
- Expired driver’s license
Bail was set at $4250.
Tina Marie Weaver, 52, Amelia, LA, was arrested on August 9, 2023, at 8:31 pm for battery-simple. Bail has not been set at this time.
All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
