St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 35 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Ryan Joab Ledet, 31, Amelia, LA, was arrested on July 17, 2024, at 2:22 pm for domestic abuse battery by strangulation. Bail has not been set at this time.
Eroy Joseph Acosta Jr., 38, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on July 17, 2024, at 2:43 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for domestic abuse battery. Bail has not been set at this time.
