St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 104 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Dontrelle Davontae Derousselle, 26, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on April 12, 2024, at 10:30 am for domestic abuse battery by strangulation. Bail has not been set at this time.
Cameron Hugo Jackson, 24, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on April 13, 2024, at 9:09 am for possession of synthetic cannabinoids with intent to distribute, violation of uniform CDS law drug-free zone, and turning movements and required signals. Jackson was released on a $30,250 bond.
Brett Michael Givens, 33, Patterson, LA, was arrested on April 14, 2024, at 2:55 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $723.
Maudiel Andony Rames Caceres, 30, Patterson, LA, was arrested on April 14, 2024, at 12:58 am for domestic abuse battery by strangulation, battery-second degree, and domestic abuse child endangerment law-aggravated. Bail has not been set at this time.
Jason Joseph Olivier, 41, Patterson, LA, was arrested on April 15, 2024, at 8:48 pm for possession of methamphetamines, possession of drug paraphernalia, and improper lane usage. Bail has not been set at this time.
Dametrus Deon Perro Sr., 37, Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 14, 2024, at 9:55 pm on two warrants for failure to appear and on a Chitimacha Tribal Police warrant. Bail has not been set on the St. Mary Parish warrants and a hold has been placed on Perro for another agency.
Henry Joseph Pierce, 45, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 15, 2024, at 3:00 am on two warrants for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family, and on a Chitimacha Tribal Police warrant. Bail was set on the St. Mary Parish warrants at $46,185 and a hold has been placed on Perro for another agency.
Tony J. Gibson, 59, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on April 12, 2024, at 8:52 am on a warrant for obstruction of highway-simple. Gibson was released on his own recognizance.
