St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Chad Toups, 49, Baton Rouge, LA, was arrested on December 6, 2023, at 2:10 pm for theft (2 counts) and criminal trespass. Bail has not been set at this time.
Selina Ronesha Johnson, 30, Patterson, LA, was arrested on December 6, 2023, at 8:45 pm on the following charges:
- Driving on right side of road; exceptions
- Possession of cocaine
- Possession of crack cocaine
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- No insurance
Bail has not been set at this time.
Joshua Mack Verdun, 35, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 7, 2023, at 12:24 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Speeding
- Possession of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids with intent to distribute
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Franklin P.D. warrant for failure to appear
