St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 57 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Michelle Lynn King-Pellerin, 52, Centerville, LA, was arrested on December 20, 2023, at 1:33 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of schedule II drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set at this time.
Shannon Pauline Wainwright, 52, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on December 20, 2023, at 11:32 pm on the following charges:
- Resisting arrest or officer (2 counts)
- Possession of synthetic cannabinoids
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Obstruction of justice-tampering
- Possession of methamphetamines
Bail has not been set at this time.
All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
