St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24 -hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 46 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Phillip Ray Baker Jr., 51, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2024, at 12:44 am for domestic abuse battery and domestic abuse-child endangerment law. Bail has not been set at this time.
Taurien Dominique Wilson, 29, Opelousas, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2024, at 1:26 am for possession of marijuana and possession of schedule II drugs. Bail has not been set at this time.
Christopher Aaron Marquez, 38, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 18, 2024, at 12:09 pm on the following charges:
- Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
- Possession of schedule I drug
- Possession of schedule II drug
- Possession of schedule IV drug
- Possession of legend drug without prescription
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Illegal use of CDS in the presence of a person under 17 years of age
- Driving on right side of road/exceptions
Bail has been set at $42,500.
NARCOTICS SECTION
Brad Hines, 20, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 18, 2024, at 5:49 pm on a Kenner P.D. warrant for theft of a catalytic converter. Hines also held a Jeanerette P.D. warrant for theft, criminal damage to property, and trespassing. Hines is being held for another agency.
