St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 28 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Tamika Beatrice Bias, 48, Amelia, LA, was arrested on November 15, 2023, at 11:09 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for issuing worthless checks. Bail was set at $2,500.
Kenneth John Scott III, 25, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 15, 2023, at 6:26 pm for home invasion and assault-simple. Bail has not been set at this time.
Edd Lee Delatte, 56, Pierre Part, LA, was arrested on November 16, 2023, at 8:41 pm on the following charges:
- Possession of CDS (drug-free zone)
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Driving under suspension
- Resisting an officer by flight
Bail has not been set at this time.
All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
