St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Jody Ray Cubbedge Sr., 63, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 27, 2021, at 5:51 pm on a warrant for possession of schedule II drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set.
Jamarlon Jakell Smith, 25, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 27, 2021, at 8:22 pm for possession of marijuana. Smith was released on a summons to appear on January 4, 2022.
