Some Franklin Water Customers May Experience Low Water Pressure Today

Customers of the Franklin Water system may experience reduced water pressure after 1:00 p.m. today due to repairs being done on broken water mains on Third and Main Streets. The City said they submitted a request to Congressman Clay Higgins and Senator John Kennedy during the Trump Administration for the $30 Million dollars needed to rehabilitate our 100 year old water distribution lines which remain unanswered into the Biden Administration. The current administration submitted a $4.3 million dollar Water Sector Grant to begin some of the rehabilitation.
