On May 23, 2025, at around 3:57 PM, the Franklin Police Department responded to reports of shots fired near the intersection of Iberia Street and Weber Street. Following the investigation, Christopher Hines, 18, of Abbirene Street, Franklin, was arrested that same day at 6:00 PM.
Hines faces charges including contributing to the delinquency of juveniles, attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities, and disturbing the peace. He was booked, processed, and is currently held on a $255,000 bond.
