On August 19, 2023, around 3:00 a.m., Iberia Parish Sheriff’s deputies were called to a shooting at the 900 block of Orange Grove Drive. At the scene, they found a deceased male on the back porch of a residence. Detectives from the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Investigations have taken over the case, which remains under active investigation.
