The St. Mary Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that registration is now open for the Charlie “Roe” Scholarship! This prestigious scholarship, awarded annually, offers $1000 to one deserving senior from each high school in the parish.
In order to provide more opportunities for students, the eligibility criteria have been expanded. Now, students with a GPA of 2.5 or higher and an ACT Composite Score of 17 or above are eligible to apply. The approach allows students attending technical colleges or pursuing non-degree programs to also apply for the scholarship.
The deadline to submit applications is April 15, 2024. To apply, simply reach out to your guidance counselor for an application.
