Raymond Noah Landry passed away at the age of 78 in the afternoon hours of Monday, July 14, 2025, at his home in Patterson.

Raymond was born in New Iberia on September 26, 1946, the third of eight children born to the union of Noah Landry and the former Vernette Bodin. He enjoyed living a simple life, working in his early years as a farm hand and then working in both residential and commercial construction.

He is survived by his grandson whom he raised as his son, Henry Rabelo; three siblings, Evelyn Hebert, Viola Milliman, and Elton Landry; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dovey Lee Roddy Hill Landry; his parents, Noah Landry and Vernette Bodin Landry; and four siblings, Vick Landry, Elsie Landry, Earl Landry, and Milton Landry.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Ibert’s Mortuary in Patterson at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, at which time he will be laid to rest in Ibert’s Memorial Park Cemetery, beside his late wife, Dovey.
