The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office, led by Sheriff Leland Falcon, has apprehended 25-year-old Christian Micheals Fielder of 122 North Curtis Street, Pierre Part, LA, on charges related to a series of serious financial offenses stemming from an incident last December.
Upon receiving a report, sheriff’s deputies investigated a case where Fielder approached an acquaintance for help in cashing what he claimed was a legitimate payroll check. The individual involved later discovered the check was counterfeit.
Following thorough investigative work, detectives confirmed the $4,000 check was indeed a fake and that Fielder unlawfully obtained the equivalent sum from the complainant.
Christian Micheals Fielder is now facing multiple felony charges after investigation led to arrest warrants being issued. He was taken into custody and is currently held at the Assumption Parish Detention Center. His charges include:
– Felony Theft
– Access Device Fraud
– Forgery
– Monetary Instrument Abuse
Fielder is awaiting his bond hearing while remaining in custody.
