Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon announced the arrest of 57-year-old Kevin P. Boudreaux from Pierre Part on multiple felony charges related to illegal firearm possession. Boudreaux, who resides at 161 Rue De Kajun, was initially arrested on March 10, 2026, for domestic, drug, and gun possession charges, during which law enforcement seized four firearms from his residence.
As a convicted felon, Boudreaux is prohibited from possessing firearms. Following his first arrest, he posted a $190,000 commercial bond. However, further investigation revealed an additional ten firearms linked to him, prompting the issuance of new arrest warrants.
On Wednesday evening, Boudreaux was apprehended at a motel in Gonzales by the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Twenty-Third Judicial District Attorney’s Office, and the Gonzales Police Department. He was subsequently booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on ten counts of illegal possession of firearms by a convicted felon. Boudreaux remains incarcerated, awaiting a bond hearing.
