Piere Part Woman Arrested on Felony Charges After Disturbance

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Monique Ann Aucoin, 47, of 110 Lachene Street, Pierre Part, LA, on felony charges arising from a disturbance on Substation Street in Pierre Part on Friday morning.
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a fight / disturbance. Deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that Monique Ann Aucoin went to her residence and confronted her about an ongoing family feud. The complainant advised deputies that Monique Ann Aucoin began beating her in her face and pulling her hair. At some point, Monique Ann Aucoin allegedly attempted to throw a concrete block toward the complainant. Monique Ann Aucoin left the area.
Investigating deputies noted physical injuries to the complainant’s face and neck area.
Deputies located Monique Ann Aucoin and interviewed her in reference to the incident. At the conclusion of that interview, Monique Ann Aucoin was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Attempted Aggravated Battery
*Simple Battery
*Criminal Trespass
*Aggravated Assault
Monique Ann Aucoin was incarcerated and released on a $30,000 commercial bond.
