Chief Garrett Grogan of the Patterson Police Department announced the arrest of Tony Gibson, a 59-year-old resident of MLK Ave. in Baldwin. According to the report, officers apprehended Gibson on Taft Street in Patterson on August 7, 2023, at 7:29 pm. The suspect was charged with threatening a public official, disturbing the peace, and two counts of child restraint violations. Following the arrest, Gibson was taken to the Patterson PD Jail and was held on a bond of $1,750.
