New Assistant Principal Appointed at Franklin Junior High School

Centerville, LA. – Franklin Junior High School recently announced the appointment of Ms. Laquanda Gray as their new Assistant Principal. This follows the transfer of former Assistant Principal Mr. Lockwood Bonin to Morgan City Junior High School. Previously serving as an elementary assistant principal at Centerville High School, Ms. Gray is a 1996 alumna of Franklin Senior High School and brings extensive experience in education and leadership.

Ms. Gray completed her Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences in 2001 and later earned a Master’s degree in Education in 2023, both from Nicholls State University. Additionally, she received her Educational Leadership Certification from Grand Canyon University in 2021.

With her background in education spanning grades PK-12, Ms. Gray expressed her excitement to support and lead the continued growth and development of students at Franklin Junior High School.
