A long-term investigation with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office, Morgan City Police Department, and the Lafayette Police Department resulted in the arrests of Herrington and White on Thursday.
On Thursday, November 3, 2023, detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Morgan City Police Department executed a search warrant on a residence in Bayou Vista. As the investigation progressed, the detectives made contact with Herrington and White. After conducting interviews with multiple subjects, Herrington and White were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail has not been set at this time.
