The Morgan City Police Department responded to 38 calls for service over the last 24 hours, resulting in several arrests.
Christopher Williford Jr., 41, of Francis St., Amelia, was arrested on April 8, 2026, at 10:32 a.m. He faces charges of probation violation from the 6th Ward City Court.
Logan Francois, 29, of Mallard St., Morgan City, was taken into custody at 11:07 a.m. on the same day for possession of marijuana less than 14 grams. He was released on a summons.
Trae Loustalot, 19, of Leo St., Patterson, was arrested at 7:42 p.m. for being a fugitive wanted by St. Mary Parish.
Marlan Francis, 22, of Everett St., Morgan City, was arrested at 9:53 p.m. for possession of marijuana less than 14 grams and was also released on a summons.
