“The Morgan City Police Department has been made aware of a video that surfaced on social media about an individual being run over by a vehicle at the Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival. We assure our citizens that this incident did not occur in Morgan City as we received no reports of anything of the such. We ask that all information be verified before sharing on social media platforms.
