ST. MARY PARISH, La. — Deputies with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office, along with Marine Patrol deputies, responded to a disturbance at a camp late Saturday night, January 24, 2025, just before midnight.
During the incident, two men were taken into custody and transported by boat to Wilson’s Landing. While deputies were transitioning custody, one of the suspects fled on foot.
The individual was identified as Cody Pierce, 37, of Berwick.
Pierce is now wanted on multiple charges, including theft, five counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, battery of a police officer, resisting arrest with force or violence, and simple escape.
