The Franklin Fire Department, Franklin Police Department, St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office and Acadian Ambulance were dispatched Saturday evening at 6:40 pm regarding an ATV accident. A 50-year-old man lost control of his ATV in a cane field which is located behind Franklin Sr. High School.
The victim reportedly sustained multiple broken bones and possible internal injuries. He was transported to Bayou Bend Health System and transferred to Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center via Acadian Air Med.
