Man Dies in Paterson After Car Falls on Him While Working on it

UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 50-year-old Lance Jenkins whose last know address is Berwick  

Original Report:
In an incident on Railroad Avenue in Patterson, a man lost his life when a car he was working on rolled up and fell on him. Police Chief Garrett Grogan confirmed the news and said the deceased’s identity will not be disclosed until the family is notified.

The 911 call reporting the accident was placed around 2:17 pm. Responding to the call were Patterson Police, Fire Department, and Acadian Ambulance. By the time authorities arrived, the man had already passed away.

The investigation is currently in its initial stages. The coroner’s office will determine the cause of death.
