Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop C recently apprehended multiple suspects following a theft from a local business in Terrebonne Parish.
On December 29, 2025, a generator was stolen from the parking lot of a business in Gray. A video of the theft circulated on social media, and Troopers identified the vehicle and suspect in the video as 38-year-old Richard Lirette of Theriot.
In the following days, Troopers located the suspect vehicle at a business and made contact with Lirette. During the investigation, Troopers located items tied to the theft and learned the stolen generator had been sold by 52-year-old Angela Rogers of Houma to another individual at a residence in the area.
Shortly after Troopers arrived at the residence, they observed 62-year-old Raymond Billiot of Houma attempting to move the stolen generator in the backyard.
All three subjects were arrested and booked into the Terrebonne Parish Jail on various charges. The stolen generator was later returned to its rightful owner.
