The St. Mary Chamber of Commerce hosted the three legislators who represent all or parts of the parish during a Wednesday morning breakfast which was held at the Bayou Bend Conference Center in Franklin.
State Representatives Beryl Amedee, District 51 and Vincent St. Blanc III, District 50, as well as State Senator Robert Allain, District 21, addressed those in attendance and gave an update on three t legislative sessions that have been held since January.
Some of the main topics that were addressed include the ongoing insurance crisis, crime, the passing of a bill requiring the 10 Commandments being displayed in school classrooms and others. The event was livestreamed by the KQKI Digital Network and is available to watch on-demand below.
